Music Checklist Information from Agent The following are some of
the items which should be provided to you with no obligation. The more of these items which musicians produce, the higher the cost of the entertainment. For instance, if a musician spends $10,000 and up for
a video tape, they must charge more than the ones who do not incur that expense, so some of the lower priced groups do not have some or all of the following materials.Demonstration Tape Promotional Material

(Most groups will place a "hold" on your date, which means they notify the agent prior to booking with anyone else. However, it is a first come, first served situation, so if you are interested in a group, or you do not want them, please, out of courtesy, contact the agent so that they can notify the musicians to continue the hold or release it).
Playing Schedule
(This can be a problem in that you want musicians who specialize in private parties. Most clients do not want a potential client "crashing" their event. Many bands have "showcasing in clubs upon occasion, but be cautious of any band which does not specialize in private parties. Many "club" bands, "garage" bands, or "college student" bands are not familiar with the flow of a private party and do not realize that many events must take place when the client deems appropriate.
